Alumni Needed for Annual College Panel
The annual College Panel / Upper School Assembly will be held on Monday, January 4, 2010, at 11:15 a.m. in the CFA. We need alumni presenters to talk to the seniors regarding your college experience. We need at least 10 alumni to make this worthwhile. You MUST make the commitment to show up for the assembly on campus Monday, January 4, at 11:00 a.m. Come and give the current TMS students “insider information” about your university experience. Help them make an educated decision about which school is right for them. You have a unique perspective, if you will be in town over Winter break, we need you! Last year we had great representation from alumni. If you have interest in participating on this panel discussion, please contact the Alumni Office at 702-797-5911.

Alumni Meeting Time/Location Change
The Alumni Association meeting on June 1, 2009, will begin at 5:30 p.m. in Melissa Truesdell's kindergarten class room, room 103 in Lower School. Headmaster/Upper School Director Henry Chanin will speak about the externship program for next year.

First Graduates Help Kick Off 25th Year
Two of the three members of the Class of 1991, the first class to graduate from The Meadows School, were on hand to help the School kick off its 25th Anniversary on September 12, 2008. The Meadows School opened its doors on September 4, 1984. The 2008-2009 school year marks the 25th year classes are being held. Alumni Association Creates Externship Program
The first Alumni Externship Program held in May 2008 was very succesful, so we are looking again for alumni in a wide variety of career fields in Las Vegas who are willing and able to host externships for TMS seniors during May 2009. The externship will be an opportunity for a TMS senior to shadow you in your career and not only learn about your career field, but what steps you took to get there. Class of 1997 Pledges $97,000
In honor of their ten-year reunion, the Class of 1997 raised/pledged $97,000 for an endowment at The Meadows School. Go to the Photo Gallery to view reunion photos.

Yellow Team Claims First Head of School Cup
Over 50 alumni, family members, faculty, and staff attended the flag football game on November 26. Two teams of 12 players faced off under cold, blustery conditions to play for the honor of being the first team to claim the "Head of School Cup."
